植物は、長い進化の歴史の中で種の存続のために独自の形態と表情を獲得してきた。
そのディテールを見つめることは、彼らの生存戦略と存在の個性に触れることでもある。

単色の背景に浮かび上がる植物の姿には、自然界で見られる環境の文脈が欠落している。
それは、彼らが本来属する生態系、「同種の仲間や他種、土地の記憶」

から切り離された違和感である。
しかしその人工的な空間の中でこそ、植物が持つ形や構造の意味が純化され、
生命そのものの普遍的な造形が浮かび上がってくる。

植物は地下で菌根菌を介して広大なネットワークを形成し、
人間には及ばない情報の共有を行っている。
それはまるで、私たち人間が空気を通じて目に見えぬ何かを交換し合っているようでもある。

本作は、植物と人間のあいだに潜む共鳴と連関を探る試みであり、
生命のかたちに宿る知性とつながりの感覚を可視化しようとするものだ。


 

Plants have evolved unique forms and expressions throughout their long history,
each adaptation serving the survival of its species.
To observe their details is to witness both their strategies for existence and their individuality as living beings.

When isolated against a monochromatic background, a plant appears strangely out of place—
detached from the ecological context that defines its life:
the presence of other species, the soil it inhabits, the memory of the land.
Yet within this artificial stillness, the essence of its form becomes clearer,
revealing a universal language of life and structure.

Beneath the surface, plants communicate through vast mycorrhizal networks,
sharing information in ways far beyond human perception.
Perhaps, through the invisible mediums that connect us—air, bacteria, atmosphere—
we, too, are constantly sharing something unspoken.

This work is an exploration of resonance and interconnectedness between plant and human life,
an attempt to visualize the silent intelligence that underlies all living forms.
