1975年山形県生まれ、神奈川県在住。
思春期を多民族国家で過ごし、その後、数多くの海外撮影や、
建築や商品などジャンルを問わず商業写真に携わる。
そうした異なる文化や環境、価値観に触れる中で、
目に見える違いの奥にある共通性や、
境界を越えたつながりに関心を深める。
自然と人工、自己と他者、異質なものが交わる「間」に
普遍的な本質を見いだし、写真を通して、
世界と知覚のあり方を探究している。
He was born in Yamagata in 1975; currently based in Kanagawa Prefecture.
Having spent adolescence in a multi-ethnic nation,
the artist went on to engage in extensive overseas photography
and commercial work spanning diverse genres, including architecture and product photography.
Exposure to such varied cultures, environments,
and values deepened an interest in the commonalities lying beneath visible differences and the connections that transcend boundaries.
By discovering a universal essence in the "in-between" spaces where nature and the artificial,
self and other, and disparate elements intersect,
the artist explores the nature of the world and human perception through photography.
